The Story Behind Resant Improvement
Resant Improvement was built on hard work, discipline, and a passion for construction that started early.
I got my start in construction when I was 14, working alongside my uncle. Back then, I was just trying to learn as much as I could, but over time, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed the work, seeing something come together, paying attention to the small details, and taking pride in doing the job right.
Over the years, that experience turned into more than just a skill, it became something I take seriously. Today, I have over 10 years of hands-on experience, and with every project, I’m still learning, improving, and pushing myself to deliver better results.
I also earned a degree in Business Management from Framingham State University, which helped me understand how to run projects the right way, staying organized, communicating clearly, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
At 21, I decided to start Resant Improvement. My goal was simple: to build something people can rely on, a company that shows up, does the work right, and treats every home with the care it deserves.

My journey hasn’t always been easy. I came to the United States from Cape Verde when I was six years old, and growing up meant adapting to new environments, learning a new language, and figuring things out along the way.
Through it all, my family, especially my mother, had a huge impact on who I am today. Her support, sacrifices, and values continue to guide me in everything I do.
Sports also played a big role in my life. I played football from high school through college, and that experience taught me discipline, resilience, and how to show up every day, lessons I carry into my work and my business.
Today, my goal is to continue growing Resant Improvement the right way, building a strong team, taking on meaningful projects, and delivering work that people can trust.
